From Sweden Laura flew directly to Shanghai, with only a  short stop over at Schiphol Amsterdam airport! Here Laura performed with her regular ‘Chinese’ band led by Alec Haavik. The occasion was a major event for project development of outlet centres.  

For the third time Laura was asked to perform at the Festijazz festival in Västerås, near Stockholm. The announcement coudn’t have been clearer…. a huge billboard! Laura performed with the Västerås All Star Jazz Orchestra but also brought her own musical director, Hans Vroomans, who accompanied her on the piano.

On November 9 Laura traveled to Shanghai to rehearse with the JZ Big Band for the jazzfestival that took place on November 13 in Xiamen, a beautiful city on the Eastcoast of China. Laura is one of the special guests and this is clear from the huge billboard that has been positioned.

On Friday October 21st Laura’s new cd, titled Jazz Love, was released by Universal Music Asia! The first response on Laura’s Facebook page was overwhelming and the cd entered the Jazz Charts in Singapore at number 1.

刚才签了环球唱片（亚洲部门）的唱片合约！！第一首单曲将要在九月份发行，其专辑“爵士爱情（Jazz Love）”将在十月发行。

我因为对音乐界的贡献而获得了一项很独特的国际奖品：BrandLaureate的国际品牌个性奖品。别的获得此奖品的人物包括克里夫·理查德爵士、艾瑞莎·弗兰克林、理查德·克莱德曼、普拉西多·多明戈、肯尼·罗杰斯等等。

我在善济爱心慈善晚会的表演以后与新加坡的陈庆炎总统见面，很特别。

我接受了巴瑞·哈姆弗莱斯的邀请并终于到了澳大利亚表演，阿德莱德有两场客满的演唱会，观众超棒的！ 你们看，Dame Edna 的眼镜适不适合我？
